Mandafofanda Reads Lots

The world isn't just the way it is. It is how we understand it, no?

And in understanding something, we bring something to it, no?
Doesn't that make life a story?

- Yann Martel, Life of Pi

Graffiti Moon - Cath Crowley This book is a breath of fresh air, and I know will become one of my favourite re-reads. It has complex characters, funny and thoughtful dialogue, and realistic girl and guy friendships. It's about wanting a night to remember, trying to figure out what you want to do with your life, and being comfortable with letting other people see your inner self. It's about being a teenager, or a young adult, or basically anyone who's in the middle of a big transition in their life.

Loves: characters' interactions, guy and girl's POV, Poet's poems, the descriptions of Shadow's art
