You know why I liked the first two books in this series so much? The banter! If any couple could make me laugh with their verbal zingers and love/hate-ness, it was Katy and Daemon. Look, I know it's okay to be happy and honeymoon-stage-y now that you guys are REALLY together. But... I still want entertainment! Where's my swaggary snarky Daemon? Where's my take-no-crap Katy? Sigh...
In this installment, Daemon is edging towards alpha-male over-protector mode who won't let Katy do anything, and Katy is... accepting it. Ugh. Also, the Dawson storyline never really got interesting for me, and unlike [b:Onyx|13047090|Onyx (Lux, #2)|Jennifer L. Armentrout|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1329408511s/13047090.jpg|18211575], where I was thinking "OooOooOoo the plot gets bigger!", this unfortunately doesn't happen in this book. Maybe the next one will be better?
