Personally, I didn't like this book as much as I thought I would, but I do have to say that Sutter Keeley is one hell of a character - original, charming and unforgettable. It takes a skilled narrator for me to think "Warning signs! So many warning signs!" and still really like a character and want to continue reading. I think this might be one of those rare instances where I like the movie better than the book, but we'll see!
