Mandafofanda Reads Lots

The world isn't just the way it is. It is how we understand it, no?

And in understanding something, we bring something to it, no?
Doesn't that make life a story?

- Yann Martel, Life of Pi

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky I read this for the second time again before watching the movie, and ended up keeping my rating as it was. This book is good, and I grew to love the characters in it, but it's not one that captured and delivered new insights to me, and I felt like I could never truly get past how naive and innocent this 9th grade Charlie was.

HOWEVER, I absolutely love love love the movie. I think it kept the spirit of the book while bringing the characters and moments to life in a realistic way that makes you fall in love. So I would absolutely recommend the movie.
