The world isn't just the way it is. It is how we understand it, no?
And in understanding something, we bring something to it, no?
Doesn't that make life a story?
- Yann Martel, Life of Pi
I love books that have characters that love things with a passion, and get really excited describing said thing, and make me want to devour their world. Before this book, the only things I knew about comic book geekdom was from The Big Bang Theory and my only exposure to LARP-ness was the movie Role Models. This book might not bring anything new to the YA scene, other than taking the teenager love-cute scenario to a geekier side, but it's fun, it's cute, and it made me laugh.
